Eligibility

Anyone with a complaint about King County executive branch agencies.   Does NOT investigate complaints about King County Prosecutor or court actions or decisions, elected officials, private businesses, non-profit agencies, or any city, state or federal agencies.

Investigates complaints against King County executive branch departments. Common complaints include allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, and ethics violations. Reports to the County Council. Operates independently of county government's executive branch.
