An intake into the Coordinated Entry System can be completed at a Regional Access Point. Households experiencing homelessness in King County are able to request an appointment at any Regional Access Point, not just the one they are located nearest. Intake assessments can also be completed at - Shelters - Day Centers - Outreach Teams/Providers

Description
Provides assessment and intake into the Coordinated Entry system in King County for households experiencing homelessness. Case workers at Regional Access Points provide clients with assistance resolving their housing crisis. Housing resources available through the Coordinated Entry System include - Rapid Rehousing - Transitional Housing - Permanent Housing - Permanent Supportive Housing There is no guarantee that a household will meet final eligibility requirements, be referred to a housing resource, or receive a referral to a particular housing option, nor does it ensure the availability of resources for all eligible households.

The Regional Homelessness Authority does not provide direct social services or referrals to shelter. Referrals to housing are managed through the Coordinated Entry System. Coordinated Entry serves all people (single adults, young adults, couples, families, and veterans) experiencing homelessness. Please contact a Regional Access Point if you are: Living and sleeping outside Sleeping in a place not meant for human habitation Staying in a shelter Fleeing/attempting to flee domestic violence Exiting an institution where you resided for up to 90 days and were in shelter or a place not meant for human habitation immediately prior to entering that institution. Young adults who are imminently at risk of homelessness within 14 days are also eligible for Coordinated Entry.
