Description

Provides activities for teens that shape values and encourage life-long community service. "Asset Building" approach helps teens develop skills for success.  Programs and services include: -  Arts and humanities -  Camp leadership opportunities -  Education -  Employment and school-based programs -  Fitness -  Recreation and after school programs -  Freedom sports camps -  Leadership development -  Service and civic engagement -  Marine science -  Summer residence camps -  Swimming and water fitness -  Teen expedition trips -  Volunteer opportunities  Program details vary by branch location.

YMCA of Greater Seattle's Regional Branches

Eleven regional YMCA branches provide after-school programming for youth, child care programs, older adult programs, and programs for families and youth. Two branches serve a community supper once a week. University Family YMCA operates a street youth drop-in center which also offers hygiene items and services. Auburn location offers smoking cessation workshops.
