Provides vouchers for new, renewal or replacement Washington state ID card or Washington state driver license to anyone in need. Visit in person.

Issues driver license, instruction permits and ID cards. Provides copies of driving records on request. Accepts name and address change information. Residents can register to vote or as an organ donor. ID card free to people who are homeless.

Provides funding and assistance for youth in foster care or under jurisdiction of tribal court to obtain Washington state ID, learner’s permit, driver’s license, driver’s education including missed drives and other fees, testing and practice sessions, roadside assistance and towing, motor vehicle registration and tabs, basic car repairs and maintenance, gas assistance while learning to drive, and auto insurance coverage.
Operates a drop-in center for youth experiencing homelessness ages 25 and younger. Provides food, clothing, laundry, showers and hygiene supplies as well as mail, phone and message services. Operates as a youth cooling center during weather advisories.
Operates a drop-in center for young adults experiencing homelessness. Provides food, clothing, laundry, ADA-accessible showers and hygiene supplies as well as mail, phone services and computer usage. We provide some programming such as but not limited to, art programming, employment & education support, and access to Case Management.
Provides direct funding grants to trans people to help pay for costs associated with updating legal documentation. Microgrants for HRT also available
Provides direct funding grants to transgender individuals to help them update their legal documentation to match their identity.
Funds may be used for court fees, transportation and other directly related expenses. Clients work with a system advocate to help navigate any difficulties in obtaining documentation.
Funding is available for:
- Legal Name Change Fees
- Passport Applications
- Driver's Licenses and State ID Cards
- Immigration Documents.
At this time funding is not available for Birth Certificate applications.
Also offers one year of hormone replacement therapy 100% covered, or 2 years of hormone replacement therapy 50% covered through vouchers.
