Notifies victims and witnesses when specified incarcerated individuals serving their sentences have the following events occur: - Transfer to a work release facility - Release to the community or other jurisdiction - Addresses being investigated for release of sex offenders - Death of the offender during incarceration - Escape from custody - Immediate release - Certain type of escorted leave The program also offers safety planning to victims who have safety concerns regarding someone who is in prison or is under the supervision of DOC.

Allows petitioners to register for notification when a protective order of any type has been served by law enforcement. Also provides advance notice when the protective order is about to expire.

Provides information and custody status notifications on offenders in all city and county jails in Washington state as well as in prisons run by the Washington Department of Corrections.

Offers emotional support, victims’ rights information, help in finding needed resources and assistance in filling out crime victim related forms. Accompanies victims and their family members through the criminal justice proceedings and works with other organizations, such as criminal justice or social service agencies. Advocacy services include: - Crisis intervention - Emotional support - Resources and referrals - Information on victimization - Assistance with Crime Victims Compensation application - Information on legal rights and protections - Information on criminal justice process - Assist victims and their family members submit statements to the court - Intervention with landlords, creditors and employers on behalf of the victim - Information on crime prevention - Assistance with funeral/memorial arrangements - Assistance with safety planning - Assistance in navigating the medical systems
