Provide a continuum of care that is both comprehensive and multidisciplinary, which features an integrated team of therapists, aides, and other essential members of the care team.  Therapy services focus on helping our patients reach maximum functional independence in activities of daily living, improving wellness and overall fitness following injury, surgery, disease or onset of pain.  Treats a wide variety of diagnoses, which may include: Neurological, Orthopedic/post-operative, Cardiac, Cancer, and other general medical.   Additional outpatient services include: Physical Therapy- gait/balance training, On-the-job injuries, strength and conditioning programs, treatment of urinary and bowel incontinence with biofeedback, pelvic floor muscle dysfunction/pain, and vestibular rehabilitation. Occupational Therapy- Instruction in adaptive techniques and equipment, hand/UE splinting, home safety evaluations, driving safety screens, work site assessment, arthritis/fibromyalgia therapy, and fatigue management.  Speech Pathology Services- Evaluation and treatment of disorders of speech and language, cognition, swallowing, and voice.

Provides the following medical services, generally focusing on inpatient health care. Outpatient care: Includes oncology and surgery services and the Wound Healing Institute. Diagnostic Services: Offers CT scanning, nuclear medicine, vascular lab, EEG lab, MRI screening, cardiac catheterization, telemetry and gastroenterology lab. Critical Care Unit (ICU/CCU): Provides critical care services, including intensive cardiac care, stepdown and telemetry.     The Regional Hospital for Respiratory and Complex Care: Provides services for medically complex and respiratory patients. Serves as a referral center for medically complex patients with catastrophic illness (see separate agency).   Oncology Unit: Operates complete cancer care unit. The Radiation Therapy Unit is a cooperative effort using Swedish Medical Center medical staff and Highline Medical Center facilities. Wellness center offers naturopathic medicine, acupuncture and acupressure.   Surgery: Offers inpatient and outpatient surgery. Pre-operative clinic helps clients to understand what to expect.   Rehabilitation Services: Provides subacute rehabilitation and skilled nursing care for the transitional period between acute hospital care and home. Offers acute rehabilitation program for more intense rehabilitation needs. Patient Advocate: The patient representative serves as liaison between patients and the hospital. They act on a patient's behalf with administration or any department or service and recommends alternatives in order to improve service to patients.

Inpatient services include obstetrics and rehabilitative services.   Outpatient primary medical services include diagnosis and treatment, family medicine, geriatrics, pediatric care, immunizations, minor surgery, individual and family counseling (for patients), nursing care, a sleep laboratory, urgent care and public education.   The Swedish Heart and Vascular Institute and the Swedish Neuroscience Institute are located at the Cherry Hill Campus.   Heart and Vascular Institute offers advanced cardiovascular care, including prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. The Neuroscience Institute provides diagnostics, medical and surgical treatments and  rehabilitation resources in most neurological fields, including brain tumors, carotid artery stenosis, child neurology, multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders and stroke.   Palliative care helps patients and their families deal with physical, social, emotional and spiritual dimensions of death and dying.   Offers discharge planning which includes coordinating home care with other community resources and securing alternate living situations, as needed.
