Students in the dental hygiene program assist in dental work. Clinic is able to take emergencies on a limited case-by-case basis. Dental services include fillings, cleanings, simple root canals, limited extractions, sealants, fluoride treatments, and crown and bridge work.

Provides urgent care dental services for patients who are experiencing discomfort or feel like they need immediate care.   Service is limited to urgent care; follow-up care may be required at a later time. Care rendered will be dependent upon assessed needs.   Due to the high volume of patients seen, prospective users of this service are encouraged to first contact their dentist of record unless the problem is of a truly emergent nature. Dental services are provided by student dentists and supervised by faculty dentists.

Staff in a mobile dental van provide urgent dental care for low-income people who do not have private dental insurance and cannot access dental care from any other provider. Clinics can provide fillings and extractions. They do not provide teeth cleaning, dentures, crowns or root canals.

Provides dental services for one year for adults who are not eligible for Washington Apple Health/Medicaid due to citizenship status. Dental care can be provided at certain community events by the Mobile Dental team, at a Public Health Dental Clinic or Community Health Center Dental Clinic. Connects low-income veterans and spouses with dentists who donate one-time, free, and comprehensive dental care. Works to provide a dental home with free dental treatment to eliminate pain, infection, and establish adequate function. Once treatment is completed, encourages these treated veterans to continue care as regular patients to prevent further breakdown and keep the donated dental care sustainable but will then be out of pocket to them. Cannot help with urgent needs.
