Offers enrollment access for Cascade Care plans, which are standard and public option health insurance plans.
Cascade Care plans offer deductibles that are on average $1,000 less than other plans. These plans cover more services before meeting a deductible, including primary care visits, mental health services, and generic drugs.
Standard plans have a standard cost-sharing design, meaning they have the same deductible, co-pays, and co-insurance for medical services, and offer the same services before the deductible, no matter which carrier is offering it.
Public option plans have the same standard benefit design across insurance carriers. However, they are unique in that the provider reimbursement is tied to Medicare rates that should lower premiums. These plans also must meet additional quality and value requirements.
