Offers a voluntary detoxification and stabilization inpatient program. Provides medical detoxification for alcohol, opiates and benzodiazepines. Uses Suboxone in the opiate detoxification process. After detoxification, patients who may need further treatment are referred to appropriate programs. Average stay is three to seven days.

Provides an inpatient medically managed detoxification program with 24-hour observation.   Services Include: -  Integration into program groups -  Discharge planning and post detox recovery treatment options -  Co-occurring disorders program including those on psychotropic medications   Medically managed detoxification reduces the medical risks and discomforts associated with a withdrawal.  Inpatient detoxification can take from one to seven days and precedes rehabilitation treatment  The primary medication utilized to help the patient during the alcohol detoxification process is Serax (Oxazepam), rather than Librium and Valium, due to liver metabolism issues that can arise from these two drugs.  For opiate detoxification, a combination of Clonidine, Baclofen and Bentyl is used to mitigate withdrawal symptoms.  Suboxone is frequently used to modify withdrawal symptoms or to start on maintenance when indicated and adequate follow-up can be put into place.  Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

This includes: - Education on smoking cessation, blood borne pathogens, birth control and sexually transmitted diseases - Obstetric evaluations and examinations - Intensive case management and aftercare planning - Family involvement - Education on parenting, childbirth and breastfeeding - Groups on codependency, stress management, processing feelings, meditation, spiritual care, relapse prevention and relationships - Nicotine patch, methadone and Subutex are prescribed as appropriate.
