License & Registration Services offered by Washington State Department of Licensing Headquarters
Issues driver license, instruction permits and ID cards. Provides copies of driving records on request. Accepts name and address change information. Residents can register to vote or as an organ donor. ID card free to people who are homeless.
Provides information on how to obtain a driver license and license renewals, and issues driver licenses.
License renewals are valid for six years.
Processes address changes. Anyone changing addresses within the state of Washington has 10 days to notify the Licensing Department.
Office locations are available on the website. Some offices offer driving tests.

Vote Centers offered by King County Department of Elections
Operates vote centers across the county to register voters, update voter records, obtain voter registration cards and assist voters who need help completing their ballot. Same-day registration available.
Operates an Election Service Center all year, and opens Vote Centers across King County during Election periods. Staff at the ESC and at Vote Centers are available to:
- Register new voters
- Update current voter records
- Provide voter registration cards
- Assist voters who need help completing their ballot
Trained staff and specialized equipment are available to help voters with disabilities cast a private, independent ballot.
All eligible, registered voters will automatically receive a ballot in the mail approximately 20 days before each election in which they are eligible to vote.
Replacement ballots are available beginning 15 days before the election through Election Day.
